My work spans the full complexity of the healthcare industry: from helping benefits managers make sense of self-insured health plans, to turning vast claims datasets into actionable business and clinical insights, to designing AI-assisted tools that are changing how clinical research gets done.
Led end-to-end design for an AI-assisted clinical data capture tool for observational studies. I designed the full medical record data capture workflow, and shipped an MVP within client contract deadlines, enabling the company to deliver data for its first set of client studies.

Growing up I moved around a lot. I was born in Mexico City, went to high school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and completed university in Edmonton, Canada, but I've called the US home for more than ten years.
I design for healthcare because the problems are real, the stakes are high, and the systems are complex. I am driven by the belief that good design can turn the complexity into something people can actually use. Now, with the rise of AI and agentic workflows, I believe the potential for good design is even greater.
When I'm not designing, I'm spending time with my kids, illustrating, rock climbing, swimming, or keeping my plants alive.
